INTRODUCTION

 

Van Dat Co. LTD is a large private enterprise located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam that specializes in manufacturing the ROSA trademarked melamine and plastic tableware products such as bowls, plates, cups, spoons and trays. Founded in 1989, Van Dat quickly gained a large market share in the industry and became the top producer of melamine tableware products. Van Dat's ROSA trademarked products are favored by consumers not only in Vietnam, but also in overseas markets for their high quality, competitive prices, and attractive designs. Van Dat products are are exported to more than 20 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North and South America. The company's strengths lie in its modern manufacturing production process from Taiwan, large workforce, competitive prices, and responsive management system.

 

Since 2000, Van Dat began to invest more than $10 million USD in building a factory complex than covers an area of 30,000 sq.m in Tan Binh Industrial Park. Even today, Van Dat remains the largest factory complex in Tan Binh Industrial Park. In 2005, Van Dat continued to invest approximately $5 million USD in real estate with "Van Dat Town". The real estate project, with 12 fully operational warehouse units and a cold storage unit, is suitable and convenient for small and medium-sized companies to lease. 

 


 

AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS

  • - Consistently earning the High Quality Vietnamese Goods title (Hàng Việt Nam Chất Lượng Cao) in the annual consumer polls organized by the Sai Gon Tiep Thi Magazine for 16 consecutive years.
  • - Receiving certification from the International Food and Drug Administration for having harmless and safe-to-use products.
  • - Hosting a Presidential visit of Van Dat's factory complex for State President Tran Duc Luong in June 2002.
  • - Hosting another factory visit and discussing Van Dat's business growth for the Minister of the Ministry of Education and Training in Vietnam at the time, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, accompanied by professors from Vietnamese universities in September 2003.
